School Districts in Tucson, AZ – Part One

The school districts in Tucson, AZ, focus on four major areas known as The Tucson Unified School District, each one containing a number of Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. Let’s look at where each district falls, and what that means to your real estate visions.

Flowing Wells Unified District

Flowing Wells, Tucson, AZ, is the smallest school district in the city. Situated in the north-west of the city, realty values within the Flowing Wells school district range from around $5-7K for an extended family trailer and lot, up to over $395K for a working commercial plot, with a number of excellent price points in between.

Sunnyside Unified District

From the north-west, we head to south Tucson and the Sunnyside Unified District. Larger than Flowing Wells, the Sunnyside Unified District features some 25 schools across Elementary, Middle and High. Sunnyside Unified District also features excellent travel links with the I-19, I-10, and Tucson International Airport all within reasonable distance.

Real estate values in Sunnyside are varied – starting as low as $10K for a small starter home, up to $150K+ for a large family home, with a good-sized back-yard. You’re certain to find something to suit your budget!
